How can such an important relationship be synonymous both with JOY and PAIN?

The relationship with your aging parents might be both joyful and challenging. The decline of a parent’s health can be overwhelming and stressful. It can provoke financial pressures, changed social and emotional needs, feelings of loss, and the need for greater support. The more prepared families are, the more opportunities there will be for closeness, mutual respect, and peacefulness. By evaluating your relationship with your parents, we will seek to identify areas of conflicts or misunderstandings and how we can constructively resolve these issues.

We’ll find areas where we can inspire, motivate, and encourage your parents with new dreams or skills.  I will assist you in discussing the most sensitive subjects, which include illness, physical and mental decline, and plans for dealing with end-of-life. The intention is to create an equitable relationship between all members of the family.
